    ok here goes

so if im reading everything on that thread if you get savemiifrii to display you sysmenu then you use a autoboot disk and then reload from there... or does that mean that the Bluetooth module is bad or i need a mod chip also???

For this reason, cheap generic controllers are usually better. Hold all four directions of the dpad down at the same time. Continue to hold them down and boot the wii while holding. If it works you will see a blackscreen with you system menu displayed in the lower right corner.

If the RM loads and displays the SM version, it could be a bad bluetooth module, or some type of corruption.

To use any autobooting recovery disks, the system ios must have the trucha bug patched.

If no trucha bug, it may be possible to fill the nand with save games and force your way to data management.

Most black screens do not enter to the RM. Except for failed bluetooth module, dvd drives, and wifi module, and other hardware failures. Of course there is always the exception.

Black Screen of Death on my WII

I bought a 2nd hand WII of the net that is modded, and it's a korean WII. My niece is playing it and all of a sudden... the sensitivity of wii gone heywire... she said went she move the nunchuck up.. it's going down... so she decided to restart the WII.. then Black Screen of Death on my WII appeared. There is no sound.. nothing at all...and my remotes cant connect to my wii.... just black screen... no health warning screen also...and I press reset and rebooted my wii.. plus many advised here. DAMN!!

Looks like I going to take it to parts... and replace the bluetooth module to try... if it works.. it works.. if not... I going sell in parts on ebay!!

If the wiimote will not power on the wii, it could be the bluetooth module. If you have a gamecube controller try savemiifrii. If it shows your system version, it is likely the bluetooth. If so, open up the wii and try to reseat the module, otherwise replace it. About $10 to replace.

    Hello,
I think I have accidentally and stupidly bricked my wii. My intention was to install some missing IOS to run some games from usb loader that wouldnt work. So this is what happened, I went to HB channel and accidentally updated it then procedded to load Pimp my Wii. I did a test to see what IOS I was missing. Then I went to NUSD Downloader and downloaded those missing IOS.
I installed them through WAD manager, the IOS were...
    - IOS 57 v5661
    - IOS 60 v6400
    - IOS 61 v5405
    - IOS 70 v6687
    - IOS 16 v512
I then exited HB Channel and restarted my wii to system menu. But nothing happened, my screen just went black.

Is my wii fully bricked? Did updating my HB deleted my priiloader? OR did installing the WAD's bricked my wii?

I hold restart and turn on power but the priiloader doesnt come on. It use to.

Please help as to what I can do. Its still under warranty, can I take it back to Nintendo somehow?
