You really ought to um, provide more information don't you think? System Menu version/region? BootMii installed (and as IOS or Boot2)? What were you doing right prior to this? You can't seriously expect any significant help without meeting us halfway, right?

That'd be Preloader if .29 I believe. And the last most significant question I asked that remains unanswered thus far would be ???

It would be more rude to offer you any solution without trying to get all the information needed to direct you. It would be rude to be in a position to help and simply ignore you. It is not rude to inform you we don't have the necessary info to help you and persist in finding ways of trying to get you to tell us.

Please keep in mind that it is you that has come here to seek assistance and that we help others vulantarily b the 100's a day.

Rude? The intent wasn't to be so, it's kind of hard to trouble shoot things when information requested to help you --- the user --- in solving a problem was asked for and then not given.

That should be solvable. You got a corrupted system menu message, and then turned it off? And when you power it back on, the screen remains totally black, nothing at all? And you double-checked (I know you said, just askin') more than once to power up and immediately hold down on the reset?

We do have stickies that address this problem, but in such cases Priiloader has to be available. Mauifrog is a consistent contributer and trouble-shooter/problem solver for problems such as this.

This sounds like a low level brick to me. Probably Sys IOS that is missing and nothing that works anymore.
However did you try the obvious? Powering with the synced wiimote? Is a nand backup at hand? That is probably your only hope of saving it or your wii is old enough to flash bootmii into boot2...

Could someone please help for my bricked Wii.

Could someone please help for my bricked Wii.
    My case Here:
Have HBC and Bootmii/ios installed, No nand backup. SoftMod only. IOS 36, 60 patched trucha bug.
USA Wii changed to Jap 4.1 (region and SM both changed successfully) using Anyregion changer. At this point, every things working fine. Priiloader was erased un-notice .

Then I changed the language setting to Chinese using ARC without installing the necessary files.
Now it’s bricked. Health screen w/ “Press A” shows up, then black screen.

Maintenance mod (remote method) not working. SaveMii working with 4.1 JPN showing on screen. Disc spins at start up.

    My questions:
    1. With Savemii+custom boot disc, will Drivekey/Wasabi DX boot my wii to HBC , bootmii or anyregion changer? I am trying to decide if I should buy one. Nintendo deny to fix it after I told them it’s been modded.

    2. Do I have to get the autobooting mode chip? Can I program the regular one to autobooting by myself? The autobooting one are double the price.

Thank you very much in advance.

if you have a working wii at your disposal then you can make the modchip autoboot yourself. Most modchips require a disc to get to the settings and that only works with a working wii
Funny thing is that I have a similar case to solve, also black screen after pressing the A button after health screen. Tonight I will try a rescue disc with autobooting modchip
