Yes, it will. You'll need the Yugioh game mentioned in the 1st post.

Is it possible to use Super Smash Bros as mentioned in Method 2? I have no idea where I'd be able to get the YuGiOh game (apart from Ebay) on such short notice.

I haven't yet tried the Smash Bros disc (getting it soon) but Mario Sports Mix comes up with that "Unable to read the disc" error. Could it be possible that Smash Bros will have the same problem? Thank you for all your help!

Do you have other games to try? The drive lens might be dirty.

Hi I've just tried the Wii Sports disc he gave me and I've noticed it said "US Canada & Mexico only" on it. I tried Spy Fox (PAL) and that won't read. I cleaned the lens. Do I need an NTSC copy of either YuGiOh or Smash Bros? : ( Is there any way around this?

If your on 4.3, use letterbomb. No game required. Could be hard to do without the mac address of the wii. You can find the mac in your router if the wii is online, or possibly in a nand.bin if you have one. Otherwise you'll need to get a game to load. Loading a game on a 4.2+ semi bricked wii could be a bitch, could require a custom disc header to work. So try loading a game that matches the wii settings, if that fails you may not be happy, try loading a disc matching the system menu. If non of that is working you may need a modchip to proceed further. Hopefully you can letterbomb to fix. You can also use a forwarder channel if you have one installed.

Hi Mauifrog : ) Is there any way at all to Letterbomb it without the MAC Address? I have no way of finding the MAC Address as I believe it was hooked up to a router overseas, and my Settings has been locked : |

Sorry if that's a completely noobish question, I'm still learning and can't find an answer anywhere I've looked
Is it possible to Letterbomb without knowing the MAC address?

Yes your wii's mac code is needed so the answer to your question is NO. A game exploit would be possible though.

Hi, been following this thread trying to restore an older wii.

    Stuck on Step 4

The download link for: MMM-System_Menus.zip doesn't seem to be up anymore.

Can someone please help me out and upload it again.

    Thanks in advance
