Hello, I have a 4.x system, I have followed your guide with no luck. Using Dop-Mii it is showing that I have 4.2u, but I am getting the error EU/EU/US etc. when I go to my system settings. I have tried multiple things to try and fix this. I have installed 4.2e and I can get to the system settings just fine but I cannot use the NetFlix channel. Any help is greatly appreciated, Thanks!

I changed my router name / password, and went into my wii settings to set the new info, and to my surprise, I have a semi-bricked wii. Everything works, but I get the black screen when going into settings. No idea when it happened since I haven't had any problems playing any of my backups via usb.

I followed the instructions in this post, but I get an error saying "you need to use an IOS with fakesign" even though I select to patch the IOS's before that message.

I don't remember what version system menu (US) that I have. It's 4.x though for sure, and it's an original hard-modded wiikey )

Here is my dop-mii report if that helps:

Any suggestions?? (ps: Sorry for the block of info. The cut & paste from Excel doesn't translate well into the forum. I can create a pic and post if that helps)

I just updated this to make it more compatible with 4.3 wiis and more in line with my current methods. If anyone wants to give it a read and let me know if I mucked anything up I would appreciate it.

    Everything worked, but still...

    Hi,

I am new to all this. First of all many thanks for the guide. On my Wii when I wanted to go to the settings I got the message 'marc:FIX/US/ENG/index01.html' and I was unable to play some original games (Mario and Sonic at the Olympics, a.o.). I got it after I put a copied game in the Wii. I followed your guide and everything went as you said. I can play my old games again. But when I go to the settings I still get the same message. I have the HBC installed now. Is this normal? Or do I have to do something different? And what do I have to do to be able to play from a HDD? Thanks.

Load this app from the HBC
    ARCmod06.zip
    When it loads select ios236
Don't change anything, just post what the settings are set at and what the installed system menu is.
Also let me know what you want it to be, then I will put you on the path you need.
