    Softmodded Wii has Black Screen

My son was ready to try out Lego ROck Band this morning and he turned on the wii and saw "System Update" where normally the currently installed games icon would be displayed. I think he clicked it (I was in the other room). Now All I see when turning on the wii is a black screen. Is there any fiels that I can throw on an SD card to un soft mod the wii and get it back to normal?

Did the update complete? Or was it interrupted?

Do you have boot2 bootmii? Two flashes from the blue disk led at boot with disk removed.

Do you have a functional preloader/priiloader? Hold reset and boot with sd-card and usb devices removed. It would start

Does your recovery menu function? Use a gc-controller and do savemiifrii. Cheep generic controller is simpler. Plug it into the 4th port, hold all 4 directions down on the dpad at the same time, them boot the wii while holding. Some controller require modification for this to work. If it works you'll see your system menu in the lower right corner.
