Angry Help With Black Screened Wii

Hello and happy early xmas to all that it applies to. I am pulling my hair out trying to figure out how to fix this Wii. Here is the situation:

I have softmodded a few of my buddy's wii's, and have had no issues in doing so. I also have put in a few modchips into the wii before the softmod exploit was available, so I know my way around the innards of the Wii. Recently, I have fixed a few Wii's that have had hardware issues such as DVD-Rom drives not working or not reading discs correctly and all I would do is readjust the laser and it will continue to work for a month or so. So saying that, I took on a project that I thought I could figure out but have had no success.

I was offered a Wii that would turn on but would only display a black screen. I have read thoroughly through multiple forums including the wonderful forum on WiiHacks.com and I have tried multiple approaches with no success.

I have tried to savemiifrii approach with the gamecube controller with no success...black screen. I then continued to read on to find a bootmii sd card fix if they had bootmii installed, no success. Next, I read on the autoboot option for a modded dvd-rom. I have a Wii in my possession that has the WiiKey v1 installed on it. I then continued to take apart both the wii's, the working and the one with only a black screen. I swapped out the dvd-rom drive and tried the autoboot approach with the "Universal Unbricker" and the "Wii Backup Disc v1.31 (c) Nintendo" both would not display a single line on the screen. After the frustration of the having no luck I tried my last resort and that was to take the Wii apart down to the nitty gritty and swap out the bluetooth module. After taking them all the way apart, swapping out the dvd-rom, the bluetooth module, then putting it back together...the terrible terrible black screen of nothingness. Does anyone out there know any other approaches that would be worth trying and please don't respond with "Yeah, send it to Nintendo". If I send it to Nintendo I take it as a personal failure. I appreciate you reading through this and please respond if you have any suggestions.

Thank you very much, and happy holidays!

You can buy the Infectus nand reprogramer and solder about 15 points to the bricked nand. Then flash a functional, compatible, nand dump.

Or you can replace the mainboard.

    That's it, sorry.

How old is this wii? If you want to go for the infectus approach and flash bootmii boot2 blocks in it you need a wii that can have bootmii installed otherwise this will not work...
All Wiis produced after aug 2008 have an incompatible boot1 in the wii so that bootmii cannot be installed in boot2

As much as I did not want to hear that, I still appreciate the time you took to respond and how quickly you did. Do you know a link to order a NAND flasher offhand, if not I certainly can dig further. Also, have you ever attempted it and if so, how difficult is it ignoring the sodering part?

    ------EDIT-------
Also, are there any places that sell Wii mainboards that you can trust? Just trying to get as much info as I can. Thanks!

Excellent knowledge, I believe it was newer than August 2008 based on the look of the hardware setup inside, I am away from the wii right now, but I will check the serial and use the knowledge to know how to approach. No matter what happens, I will update this thread with what I found out. I appreciate everyones help.
