    Thumbs up Hello everyone.

I'm worried about loading the homebrew channel to my wii as i have the new up dates on it.How does it work, will it mess it up,and is it worth the risk.I'm very new to this homebrew and softmod. Is there any one out there who can explain it to me THE SIMPLE WAY!!!!!

If you've got a full brick (black screen) and the GC trick doesn't work then the only hope is a valid bootmii/boot2 install during the softmod process.

Check for dual DVD slot flashes as you power on. If you don't get them then you having nothing to do but return it to Ninty.
Not really doing much Wii stuff these days.

You look at it while you start the Wii.

The bootmii flash is a very quick dual flash of the dvd slot.

If the slot just flashes once and then not again then you don't have bootmii/boot2.
