I tried a disc loader gecko with super mario galaxy original but game just stopped on black screen after loaded.

I did exactly as you informed me mauifrog, with the ios249 to install in wadmanager. Install ios30, then system menu 3.2

It was the KRAXON softmod 4.1 toolkit which I used successfully on my son's 4.0e wii, but I never got as far as updating my sisters 3.1e wii it was at the Rev14 installer part where it got bricked I think I may have chosen 36 when it wouldn't let me choose 249#'?

Is there a way to find out if stub ios30 ?

I installed ios60 patched & sys menu4.1 both installed ok rebooted still black screen no boot up.

I look like I'll be buying my sister anew wii while I try to unbrick this :s

    any idea's welcome... thanks again
Try to change the ios the loader is using. Don't give up, there should be a way to fix this. What happens when you savemiifrii?

I have tested savemiifrii but could'nt get it to work...

I can only get cboot2 to launch bootmii wont load even though I am sure it's installed as boot2.
Only with cboot2 can I load apps like loadmii & wad manager ect, no system menu at all :s

I am not going to give up but may have to empty my wallet for another wii for my sister & then if I ever fix the brick sell it & refill my wallet lol.

Try to run this cIOSCORP Uninstaller. It will replace almost all your ios with some updated ones, pure nintendo ios, if you have a corruption it could fix the issue. Then install ios60patched and system menu 4.1.

You did say that the wiimote turns on the wii, yes?

wait, since you errored before installation of ios249 then you dont have a trucha'd ios... what part did you get error on? pls try to remember

plus, do you have a backup of the nand?

last thing, if your wii is old, try to install the following:

    ios15
    ios36

with wadmanager, but using ios35 and not 249

    also watch for errors

(Mauifrog) cIOSCORP Uninstaller would'nt get past continue screen cause wiimote not synced & gc pad didnt work with it? is there a version with gc pad support?

(messie) I managed to get 15 with 35
    but 36 with 35 returned error 1035.

ok you got a version of ios36-64-xxxx.wad from nus right? right, then try installing it using some other ios. Thats strange tho because u need to use a trucha bugged ios and as i can see ios35 is trucha bugged. Try again using 30-31-32-33-34 one of them might work

Would it be possible to redo trucha?

edit: I got a diff version number of the 36 & it installed, but still not booting :s

I have ended up biting the bullet & bought a 2nd hand wii for my sister & my son has taken his wii to his mothers for the holidays, so I have no cables for now I am going to get some new cables ect & try to fix it again in a few weeks so until then....

Thanks all for the help & info I'll be bumping the thread again soon... cheerz
