Japanese Wii 4.1J Bricked, Wiimote does not respond, need help

When I turn on my Wii normally it goes into preloader (I have preloader setup) but when I try to start the wii through system menu I just get a black screen. My Wiimote also won't connect to Wii nor will it turn it on.

I am able to get into homebrew using preloader but I cannot load wads through wad manager because you need a Wiimote to instal wads and my Wiimote will not connect.

My USB loader doesn't work either.

I did install Bootmii to boot2 a long time ago when I first hacked my japanese wii. My Preloader says IOS v60 and Systemmenu v448

Anybody can help me with my problems?

I think I messed up my Wii even more while searching through the forums.

I tried to replace my system settings with the System Settings Replace Mod and couldn't find a Japanese setting so I used an English one. After doing this I was able to install the wads that wouldn't install earlier (IOS50-64-v4889.wad and SystemMenu-NTSC-J-v384.wad)

After installing these wads I restarted my Wii and Bootmii still works but now I cannot load Preloader anymore. In bootmii's info it says I have a 3.4J wii now but when I try to load the System Menu it's a blank screen again.

    Would really appreciate some advice.

http://www.wiihacks.com/bricked-wii-...tion-here.html I think that's the thread you're talking about. I tried that thread earlier but couldn't install any wads because my wiimote wouldn't work. Then I found a wad installer called Wad Manager 1.5 mod 3 that uses the GC controller so I tried that. Just tried to install the wad file and system menu for a 3.4J Wii and after restarting including taking out the sd card my Wii still shows a black screen

Does the Wiimote work at all? i.e. Are you able to switch on the Wii by pressing the button on the Wiimote.

No, the Wiimote doesn't turn on the Wii nor does it connect after the Wii is on through syncing.

If the Wiimote fails to turn the Wii on it can point to a dodgy Bluetooth module rather than a brick. If you can perfom the savemiifrii procedure with a Gaemcube controller you can easily confirm it. Or just get a new BT module and hope for the best.

I performed savemiifrii before i messed up my preloader and it just said 4.1J. Does that tell me anything helpful?

Well as I explained in my previous post that you quoted. if you are able to savemiifrii AND your Wiimote will not turn on the Wii then there's a good chance the Bluetooth module is faulty and needs replacing.

I didn't understand the wording in the other post but I do this one. It was easy for me to try savemiifrii with preloader because I was able to use preloader hacks to load savemiifrii by holding right on the d-pad.

Now I'll probably have to deconfigure my one of my controllers which is fine. I will try this as soon as I come off of work.
