    PAL opera Semi-brick

    Hi All,

Appreciate any help here I can get.

My Wii has a wiikey and since cancelling(or so I thought) the update that came with new mario bros game(NTSC) I have been unable to check my settings page due to the now well known opera error.

Anyregion says I have a conflict even though all is set to europe and I am wary about doing anything without knowing my system menu version. a Reload of 3.2 gives a failed message.

I also have no internet connection for the wii so offline is my only choice. I have downloaded files for the 00000001 folder to get past this but it ultimately has an error at the end.

Homebrew is installed and I have tried cIOS changes but without knowing what that actually is, I am flying blind.

sorry about the lenght of the post but want to give all the details cause I've been at this 2 days without success.

    Thanks again

Fist to steps 1-3 of the 3.1-4.1 guide

    Now use wadmanager to
    Install ios60patched.wad from step 5a
    Then
    Install system menu 4.1e wad

After that consider installing preloader to block updates and provide some protection if you could not install bootmii as boot2.

Or you can wait for a new game to come out with 4.2e and update from that, which could take awhile.

    Fall at the last hurdle

IGNORE THE FOLLOWING> Used WAD Manager and everything is working. A working systems menu is a beautiful thing

ok so i managed to follow steps 1-3 but I am getting and "ERROR! (ret = -1)" message when I choose the default settings in wad manager 1.4

I have the 10s249 and wii sd slot selected but then the error is generated when i press a.

Just a note as well. I might have installed BootMii under both settings as I think I installed it before asking for your help.

The other thing is when you say to move the nand to your machine, does that consist of the file named 'nand' and the file named 'keys' or just the 'nand' file?

    I wasn't sure.

    thanks

Ok so I managed to get that installed but updating the menu is now the issue. Firmware Updater just sits trying to initialize network.

i have the wads for the system menu on the card.

Should I be trying to install it using wad manager or will this just mess things up compl
