Hope you guys don't mind me bumping this topic, but I got the Wii fully booting up with HBC now loading with no problems, what should I do to get this console fully updated for playing games through a USB Loader? I don't seem to have Preloader 0.28 anymore... So don't wanna screw anything up. Also, do I gotta go back inside Trucha Bug Restorer and do anything there?

Good to here it is working, system menu boots, hbc loads? Was the signcheck done after you installed lu84.wad? If it was done before you install lu64.wad can you run it again for me please. Also did you just install lu64, or did you also install ios16, it is fine either way.

To bring your wii up to speed with usbloading and such, I would follow the 3.1-4.1 guide linked below.

I ran the check before I installed it... Only ran the LU64.wad, should I run the other one? Either way, here is another check,

    NEWsignCheck.zip

(had to put it inside a zip file this time)

Still only installed LU64.wad while running this new check. Also, should I update the Wii at all? If so, what firmware is the best to have?

OK, just follow the 3.1-4.1 guide linked below, it will bring your wii up to 4.1, your cios up to rev14, and other things.
