I'm still struggling to understand EXACTLY you want/are planning to do (If you could put it in simple terms that would be nice), but I guess you know your stuff, so I'll leave you to it.

you are spot on... have not been able to find a game that meets the characteristics. Effectively what i was trying to do is to get SSBB autoboot by hiding it another game disc. The game that i can use as the parent carrier for SSBB needs to have multiple partitions and should be invoking an executable called main.dol from another partition.

so i guess all of us are back to the drawing board in trying to find out some other solution to this...

The Drivekey Modchip supports multi-iso discs. If we make a multi-iso disc with SSBB in one of the partitions, we wouldn't be modifying the iso itself to autoboot & invalidating the signature, therefore allowing it to boot. Is this possible?

The Wiiscrubber 4.1 with Multiboot program is discussed over at GBATemp forums. In one thread, these instructions were written:

    1. load an ISO, select the data partition and shrink it. Then save it out as a crypted partition.
    2. Repeat stage 1 until you have a selection of partitions.
    3. Load an ISO that you want to adapt.
    4. Delete all the partitions (right click on partition, delete partition)
    5. Repeat for all partitions.
    6. Right click on WII DISC and select IMPORT, Crypted. Choose partition to load. Select partition table to use.Wait.
The partition table 0 MUST contain at least one partition but can have a maximum of 3.
    7. Repeat for all the partitions you created at stage 2.
    8. Burn disc.

The download for Wiiscrubber 4.1 with Multiboot is here: Wiiscrubber 1.40 and multiso loader released - GBAtemp.net

Since we have Drivekeys, we shouldn't need to use the Multiboot loader. Also patch the final iso to autoboot.

avatar - sys - mplsmovie - player.dol (replace with wadmanager.dol? or something else?)

are you smarter than a fifth grader - fifthgrader.elf (replace with another elf file?)

    another theory...
mario kart has 3 partitions, one of which is the installer. But as you can see on ALL discs, it has the same setup to start the partition. Now isn't this what the Wii does. When you try to invoke the mariokart channel installer, it actually boots again with partition 3 instead of the game partition.
As it reboots by itself it is actually restarting and thus not going through the recovery mode, thats why it returns the 003 error again.

Would it be possible to make that partition the game partition and thus starting that partition (so I mean the INSTALLER partition making the GAME partition. That way we can start the wad manager directly. I have no idea how to do so however, but I will give it a try...

i can't manage to do it, without losing the NTSC region code.

Anybody else knows a way to make the INSTALLER partition the starting partition?

    Method #2
    Method- Castlevania Judgment
    Requirements-
    Functional RM via savmii/savmiifrii (gc-controller)
Ios36 must have the fakesign bug, aka trucha bug- probably from cIOSCORP
You will need a modchip, preconfigured to autoboot, region free enabled
Castlevania Judgment, unscrubbed iso- in your region
    (tested with ntsc-u version)

    Download:
    iso-tools.zip
    WM_1.4.dol.zip
Extract to the location of Castlevania Judgment iso.

-Burn Castlevania Judgment iso, burn it good and proper

-Run MakeKeyBin.exe, type 42, click generate

    -Run WIIScrubber.exe
Click load ISO, select Castlevania Judgment iso
    Double click Partition 1- data
    Right click on main.dol,
    Click replace
    Select WM_1.4.dol
    main.dol name will not change
    Exit

-Burn the patched Castlevania Judgment iso, burn it good and proper

-Boot the wii and load the Recovery Menu via savemii/savemiifrii.
You should see a black screen with your system menu version #

-Insert your Castlevania Judgment disk, it should boot
Let the game load to the intro movie, eject the disk
you will see "error please insert Castlevania Judgment disk"

-Insert you patched Castlevania Judgment disk
The intro movie plays again, goto the main game menu
Push "Home" on the wiimote and click "restart"

    -Wadmanager 1.4 will load,
push A to install/uninstall wads, or
push B to exit to HBC

-Now fix your wii, You can use ios36 in wadmanager
    Install cIOS70-v6174-v3.6.wad.zip

On 003 Kor wii- this strongly suggests the presence of cIOSCORP, it is likely that all game ios are patched, and many games will work with this method.
    [/QUOTE]

Mauifrog thanks, I've managed to fix wii error 003. But there's my other wii I can not be fix by the first method. I use the second method, but while changing with the game already in the patch, my wii can not read the game. I use a Castlevania game backups.

this seems like an interesting idea... however, i believe that the reason the mario kart method or any other channel installation method does not work is because the wad manager is trucha signed and that is not recognized by the Wii as a valid executable unless you have a trucha signed IOS as indicated as requirement for the hack in the 1st post.
