year ago, for my friend's #003 brick, I've once successfully completed the use of SSBB-pwms, using the Mario Kart as disc-1. thanks to mauifrog and nightstah's generous sharing.
    thumbs up.

When I put the disc of SSBB and grip on yes to install the channel, the message that the channel mario kart is already installed appears. What can it be? Mario Kart loads normally.
My disk 2 with 7.73 Gb and ssbb-pal with 7.92 Gb. ssbb-pal verified with Wit is normaly.
    Sorry my english.
    Thanks!

I got my hands on Castlevania Judgement [RDGPA4], now I did the 003 Swap-pwns.bat then followed everything using imgburn. here's the deal:

    1. Switched on my friend's Kor Wii.
    2. Press my unscrewed GBC controller's dpad rubber.
    3. 4.2(USA) Shows
    4. inserted the swap disc... TADA! nothing

so I'm thinking what could be wrong. Now step two:

    1. unplugged my friend's Kor Wii.
    2. Plugged my Alive Kor Wii. (alive, ok?)
    3. press the power button
    4. press the GBC Rubber
    5. I got myself in the savemefrii screen 4.1(USA)
    6. inserted the swap disc....
    7. yeah the 4.1(USA) fades away then gets me too the game.

    man...

    Lightbulb

What does the "dvd drive that supports backup disc loading" mean here? Do I an extra dvd drive to load additional disc with the Wii's original one? How to connect this DVD drive with Wii then?

My Wii can read burned disc game, is that ok?

Newer Wiis are incapable of reading backup discs. If yours can read backups, then you can follow the portion mentioned.

    Hello,

I hope someone can shed some light on what Iīm doing wrong to fix this one Wii I have here.

Itīs a Korean wii, but ofc, the 003 brick happened and the recovery screen shows me 4.3 USA.

I followed mauifrogs guide like this :

    CHECK

    Wode

    CHECK

    Savemii

Ok, that and a harddrive for the Wode ofc. And a 2gb SD card. Letīs get started.

First I installed the Wode and updated it 2.9 NTFS READONLY.

    4.2/4.3u 003 wiis- Download [/SIZE][/SIZE]error 003-USA.zip
-Extract to your pc in folder \003
    -Do MarioKart-PWNS

    CHECK

    Mario Kart PWNS[/SIZE]

A game in the region of your wii

    CHECK : Mario Kart USA.

Copy your Super Smash Bros. Brawl PAL ISO to folder /003
Copy your channel installing game to folder /003
    Navigate to folder /003
Rename your Super Smash Bros. Brawl PAL ISO -> ssbb-pal.iso
Rename your channel installing game -> channel.iso

    Run MarioKart-PWNS.bat
    Let wit do its thing
    Code:
wit mix channel.iso channel.iso ignore "@ignore.txt" select DATA as chan --dest disc1.iso --overlay
    wit edit disc1.iso --id=0SBE01 --name "MarioKart-PWNS" --region USA --modify=DISC
wit mix disc1.iso header region ignore "@ignore.txt" ssbb-pal.iso select DATA as chan --dest disc2.iso --overlay
    Burn disc1.iso on a good dvd5 disc
Burn disc2.iso.iso on a good dvd9 dual layer disc

--- For me this meant copying both iso files in a folder "iso" on the ntfs formatted HDD.

Use a gc controller to enter recovery menu via savemiifrii

--- For me this meant using the savemii dongle.

Insert the channel disc, the game boots

Use your wiimote and navigate to the channel installer. Select to install the channel, it will tell you this channel uses so many block. When you get to the install confirmation, press [HOME] on the wiimote,

-- so far so good. Now I eject the iso (disc1.iso) and load the other iso (disc2.iso). Press HOME and I see a half greyed out Mario Kart background and the display of the Wode shows "1 reads". And thatīs it.

Now Iīve tried changing the Wode region settings (which were set to US initially to load the first ISO) and also fumbled around the settings (game patches off and stuff) but nothing seems to work. It just wonīt continue to the next screen.

What am I doing wrong here ..... can anyone please help me out.. Iīve tried burning the disc and using a modchip as well, but then it just goes to An error has occured screen.

Did you add title id 0SBE01 to the dual layer list on the wode?
also possibly try using http://www.mediafire.com/download/12...tarfox-USA.zip as disc1.iso. When starfox asks you to connect the classic controller, swap the iso in wode, then press reset on the wii.

Ah no, didn't do that (duallayer.list), because it said you only needed to do that when your Wii region is the same as the SSBB version (=PAL), which isn't the case for me.

Also, downgraded the Wode to 1.28 now and now it just keeps throwing out "Region mismatch" on both disc1.iso and disc2.iso (I tried every wode region setting, but still does that). I'll update again to 2.9 and will try your suggestion(s).

Thanks and I'll keep you posted !

Ok, update. Duallayer.list added, but that caused disc 1 to no longer load (constantly ISO ejected message). Then tried the starfox iso, but that just resulted in a black screen.

I then realized that both disc1.iso as disc2.iso have the same ID (0SBE01), so I manually changed the ID of disc1 to something else and now going to try that..

yeah.. and forget that train of thought.. it worked for as far as the addition of the duallayer.list concerned to the point where it now loaded up disc 1. I press on home (at the install channel), eject iso and load disc 2. Aaaaaand.. just 1 read again and it hangs.

Starting to lose faith here.. I'm willing to give the swap disc trick a shot, but not very hopeful. Has anyone succeeded in doing this trick with a WODE tbh ?
