I have used verbatim DL DVD r- 4x and DL DVD r+ 8x. I have not used and DL rw, but I have used dvd5 rw without issue.

Sorry, It was a typing mistake in the e-mail, in the duallayer.list is correct
But I think I know what the problem is . I have followed your instructions of doing DUMP of the iso's with wit and I have discovered that is not pal. I was sure that was Pal . This probably explains why I can't start the ssbb neither from the wode nor from the burn DVD as my bricked wii menu is already 4.3
Now I am trying to get the ssbb pal and start over again.
Thank you for your help !!!!!

Well, this did not solve the problem . Now I have a pal ssbb, did all the process again ( Swap PWNS), have the ssbb ID game in the duallayer of the HDD , in the iso directory, together with both iso games . I am succeeding loading the NTSC game, and when I swap the discs the ssbb starts to load (according the blue light of the wode ) and suddenly the wode ejects the iso by itself.
I don't know now what is wrong.
What I am doing wrong ?

You need a mod chip and compatible drive, or a wode to fix this.
