    Post 4.2KOR update files

    Hello people
First of all, thank you for this great forum, it has lots of useful info
Iíve got here a 003 bricked Korean Wii with 4.2U FW.
Iíve a working Savemiifrii and a working autoboot modchip, so I can boot games.
The Wii was softmodded, but the trucha bug restorer wasnít applied.
The boot2 bootmii couldnít be installed.
Because of this I canít boot modified titles. Iíve tried the Castlevania Judgement (NTSC) solution, the game boots fine, but when I swap the modded disk, the laser start ďjumpingĒ trying to focus, the operation was redone several times, including recompiling the modded iso and reburning the DVD. Iíve read that this happens because the modded game doesnít pass the signature check.
    Iíve found these two solutions:
-Update the console with an original game that has a 4.2KOR update.
    or
-Inject the 4.2KOR update partition in a working US game Ė as I understand the Wii doesnít check signature in the update partition. Also the update files are original.
The only option I have, is to inject the update because itís impossible to get an original 4.2KOR game here, in south america.
And the trouble is that I canít get the 4.2KOR update files. Thereís no new korean games available to download in the net.
So can somebody share the 4.2KOR or 4.3KOR update files and tell me how to properly inject them in the Castlevania Judgement game disk please?
    Thanks in advance.

Those methods are old. Read post 1 and load SSBB-pal via disc swap. You can not fix it via kor update.

For what it is worth, SSBB-KOR does autoboot, but only appears to work under the KOR language setting. So as far as I can tell 003-Jap wiis are SOL unless you had cioscorp installed prior to the 003 brick.
I fixed my 4.3J before using your old method mauifrog. Yeah just like you said maybe my previous Jap Wii has CIOSCORP inside. I injected the files via channel install. Anyway anyone of you has a 4.3J Wii to fix I think I can help out suggesting some idea or you have the Wii you can pass it to me to try it out. Is been a long time I haven't fix any 003 Wii ever since I'd been cheated.

From what I am told ssbb-jap does not autoboot, it gives error when the disc id is modified, just like ssbb-u. Ssbb pal and Kor will autoboot, but not USA and jap.

THANK YOU GIANTPUNE and MAUIFROG and all contributers...

had my wii broken for quite awhile now, been reading this thread for ages... finally i did it after so many failed attempts, wasted severl DLs and Rs, time and money. switched dvds between 4 wiis (only one is mine). did it with MK method with the old wiikey (had to update it first with a functioning wii and configured it too) and keep trying and trying. I refrained myself from asking question as many of my problems has been asked here sometime or another and answered So again id like to say many thanks all the way from Indonesia. Cheers

Got a wasabi dx and installed it. Korean Wii but bricked with 4.3U.

I powered it on via GC controller and get a 4.3U at the bottom, put in the DVD and it spinned for a few secs before spinning down and nothing happens ..

Any ideas ? Any way to tell whether it is problem with DVD or if the Wasabi DX is configured to autoboot ?

What game? Is NTSC-u? It must be patched to autoboot and burned, wit should do that for you with the batch file. If it just spins the game could be out of region, not patched to autoboot, improperly installed chip, or non-compatible DVD drive.
