Ok so you didn't mention the System Menu version. Am I to assume you don't know?

What was the game you semi-bricked with?

I don't know the update of Mario Tennis unfortunately and we do have quite a big list. It's been with us since around March 2009 so probably came with 3.1/3.4.

    I doesn't make much difference.

Now I'm assuming you are semi-bricked, that's the Wii having an Opera message when you go into settings. Is that right? You can still load games as usual?

Ok just had to be sure.

Right. Seeing as we have no Homebrew or any of that stuff what we need to do is carefully select a game that has a higher System than you have but is in the right region.

New Super Mario Bros Wii is a new game that has System Menu 4.1 which, when you put it in the Disc channel will request an update to be run. Make sure this game is either retail(rent, borrow etc) or guaranteed to be the right region for where you live.

When you run this update it'll fix your Wii config to the right area and the brick will be fixed.

Do you know what modchip you are using?

hey dude. I live in the middle east. Bahrain to be specific. However I bought my Wii from Dubai, UAE. The thing is most ppl here buy ntsc, wii's. I dont know if mine is pal or ntsc. Is there a way to check on the machine itself?

I was hoping you'd say something straightforward. Oh well.

It's pretty important to know your region but it would either be NTSC-USA (also Canada) or PAL (covers Europe and Australia).

Typically Bahrain is one of the exceptions as they sell both types. You could also have a modded Wii that started life as one thing and was sold as another.

    Oh joy.

Do you know the region of the Mario tennis you used? Normally isos are identified with PAL or NTSC. Do any of your other games (from before you bricked) have identification? The more info the merrier.

I've not spent too much time analysing the casing of my Wii so I am unsure if it says anything on there but it does say in the Wii manual that mine is PAL.

Ok Bro. All what i know is that mario tennis wii is a copy game (not an original) which i am not sure what version it is as it doesnt say at all. Now i have super mario galaxy and ssbb which are ntsc. When i reviewed the manual, it says,"This product only plays wii game discs and game cube discs labeled with "for use only in uae and saudi arabia". So does that mean it is pal? Now the thing is i have played as mentioned above that, i have already played MArio galaxy and ssbb ntsc. I have played mario kart wii (which was a copy game and not an original) and it asked me to update and i did and it didnt brick. So any help is greatly appreciated.
