Black screen, reset or disc boot not working

Hi everyone. First time modder, first time poster.

After following the ulitmate hacking guide on these forums, HBC, Preloader, and had my Wii playing both Wii and GC backups. I noticed whenever i booted to the system menu, it would show a black screen with a white (EUR 4.2) in the bottom right corner. So i downloaded and installed a new PAL system menu via WADmanager. It said it had installed successfully but after rebooting my Wii, there is now a black screen, as if my Wii isn't even on. No sounds, no disc bootup, no preloader, no text in corner.

I've tried holding reset while booting, but that doesn't work. I did backup my NAND to my PC earlier but how do i use it? Is my Wii saveable?

Do you have bootmii as boot2? You should see two flashes from the blue led drive light at boot with disk removed.

You can also try savemiifrii. Get a gc controller, generic is better, hold all four directionals down at the same time and boot the wii. If successful you should see a black screen with your system menu version in the lower right corner. If your controller is original Nintendo it will need to be disassembled and the pin below the directionals removed first.

I'll check the flashes when i get home. I have a third party GC controller so i'll try it on that. Would the installation of the system menu cause the brick? My Wii worked fine before i installed it.

Did you install a 4.2? Or perhaps a lesser version. It is recommended to first install the system ios, then system menu. If you installed a lesser system menu without ios, that would explain the black screen.

Only one blue flash from blue led light. Didn't install the system ios first unfortunately. Thought i researched it, guess i didn't. What's next? Garbage bin? Is my backup NAND useless? Options?

Also, does it matter which port the GC controller is in when trying savemiifrii?

When i turn on my Wii, my TV acts as if there's nothing connected. What i mean is, normally when the Wii is off but the TV is on, a "no signal" text shows on the screen, meaning that certain channel (AV, Component, or HDMI) doesn't have a "turned on" source (console, dvd player, etc). The "no signal goes away once i turn on whatever's connected to that input. But since bricking my Wii, the "no signal stays on the screen. But, when i put a disc in i hear the Wii beep and keep the disc spinning as if it's running a game. It's as if my cables aren't even plugged in to the TV. I've also swapped TV inputs to check. Does this info help?

I doubt savemiifrii will work without the system ios, but before you trash it, you could try.

GC controller method not working. I did install bootmii when installing HBC so does this help at all? Any other avenues i can take?

After a bit of research and googling, it sounds like it has something to do with my bluetooth module. I can hear my Wii spinning discs, power on and off, etc, but just no sound or video. I've ordered a replacement part and will post back when i have a verdict.

I don't think, I am pretty sure that savemiifrii should work if it was your bluetooth, and that would be a very big coincidence to have that fail at the same time you were installing a system menu. You should have a look at this chart.

My Wii was working fine before installing the system menu, could it be possible that the installed system menu corrupted or "failed" my bluetooth module? When i insert a game disc i can hear it spin up and beep and make the usual sounds it does when playing games. I can turn of the console with the power button and eject discs etc. It just won't recognise the Wiimote or show any audio/visual.

The replacement part was only $9.95 shipped so if that fails i'll look into the savemii dongle. The official reseller of the savemii is in my country which is a bonis i guess.
