i was trying to install the 4.1 ("Wii_Softmod_3.0-4.2.rar") update so she could play new super mario brothers
it played once then gave me ga garbled screen
so i followed the instructions to remove the new wads i installed to get the banner brick to go away
i think - no im sure i removed the ios60 file

all i get is a black screen and my freeloaders will not work

if their is anything i can do to fix this i would greatly apperate this

I feel like POO i killed my daughters wii

can i do anything with save me fii

It's not likely as I'm pretty sure that the recovery console requires IOS60 to operate, at least in cases where IOS50 was removed it never worked and they do the same thing.

I'm afraid that removing System IOS 30/50/60/70 from their relevant System Menus is quite a serious fault.

Do you have bootmii/boot2 installed? Preloader perhaps?

Check the DVD slot when you start the Wii for 2 quick flashes.

Press reset when you start the Wii.

    No it's fine.

By all means try savemiifrii, it is not dependent on the unbrick disc and can be done just to check ability to get to recovery console.

Preloader and Recovery menu both require IOS60.

    But you can try.
