I see. Dodgy stuff is fiddling with wads. I suppose it wouldn't be so bad if you'd unwittingly downloaded some bad wad and installed it rather than creating your own bad wad and installing it without protection.

I think you are pretty much stuffed.

    Expensive mistake perhaps.

    I have a few questions....
    1. If I go back to FutureShop and return it (i have warrenty) will they replace it of fix it?
    2. What about using a autoboot disk? I've heard of them but I don't know how to use em.
    3. If I do decide to return it to nintendo, how much would it cost to get it repaired? (In canadian dollarz plz)

    1. Hard to say.
    2. No modchip. Would need an autobooting modchip.
    3. With a banner brick, probably New Wii cost less 5-10%. It'll be easy to detect and they will know instantly you modded it.

Sparky - Fail. Never delete IOS under 200. The black screen is a result of removing IOS60 rather than re-installing it. If your bootmii is boot2 then you can save it, if it's just IOS then you have full bricked. Nothing will work without IOS60 on a 4.1 Wii.

Ios60 is part of the system menu. Uninstalling it was very bad.

Savemii and Savemiifrii will not work

You can check for preloader, hold reset and power the wii, it would load if it was functional

You can check for boot2 bootmii, remove and disks and boot, you would see two flashes from the blue led drive light if you had it.

That is it, so if those fail you'll need to send it to nintendo, buy a new one, or replace the mainboard.
