just press hard in the center of the d-pad, press power button and wait for system version in bottum right corner
Go buy some jewelers screw drivers ($3) and use a small flathead, or pay $10 for a triwing driver. Or go buy a generic gc controller as they do not have that stub under the directionals. Game stop works great for me $20.
ok, ive cracked the gc controller open without damaging anything. savemiifrii isnt working. my next question is whats the next solution?? im thinking of getting a drivekey, but i dont wanna buy it and find out that it cant help after yo brick from installing ios60. mauifrog, what do you think??
I think we should ask the basic questions first.
What did you do? Install ios60? are you sure you did not uninstall it?
Do you have bootmii installed as boot2? You would see two flashes from the blue led disk light during boot with disk removed.
Do you have preloader? If you hold reset and boot it should load.
And are you sure savemiifrii will not work? It can be a little tricky, so don't give up to quickly.
nice, you jsut taught me something new. yes, it does blink twice when i boot the system up. it does it very quickly though. i installed it. im 100% positive about that.
I had preloader installed, but whenever i try to load it, the screen just stays black.
ive also tried savemiifrii multiple time, 2 days straight. ive givin up on that option about 2 hours ago.
the only problem with boot me, is that i erased the files that the hackmii installer puts onto my sd card. i still have the original nand and everything though. can you give me the files that makes bootmii load??
This is from Tealc's mediafire. Not sure if it will work for you. I think they are region dependant and his are pal I believe. There is away the edit, or you could search around.
bootmii folder.rar
You may also want to try this c2boot to load apps, like wadmanager to fix your trouble.
cboot2.zip
You should be able to put these file on your sd-card and turn on the wii. With cboot2 your apps boot.dol goes onto the root of the sd-card.
hmm. thanks alot froggy. when i extreacted the cboot the screen flicked about 10 times with words i didnt understand and then it booted the wii system menu.
