You deleted IOS60, that's like removing your Windows folder and then wondering why your PC says Invalid System Disk every time you start it up.

If you'd left it at Preloader there might have been some hope, as pretty much any recovery can be done through it, except this full brick of course.

Your only hope now is that your Wii is an old one and you followed the bootmii part of the tutorial correctly. Did you install Bootmii/boot2 or Bootmii/IOS and please don't say you don't know as that just makes things worse.
Sorry tealc for bothering you but I'm starting to understand the nintendo wii system such as the wads and that. So since I still have my IOS60 with a fully bricked and not able to access any bootmii/boot2 preloader will I still have the chance to unbrick using the gc remote, becos i was at a computer fair today and I was told once your wii is fully bricked that its impossible.

If there is no bootmii of preloader, there is no hope. Savemiifrii is not going to work without ios60.

By the way i have totally convinced now that my wii has been fully bricked. Now it's not about the wii bricking threads. But i wanna learn a specific question. As u know my bricked wii was pal. Now i am about to buy a "Consoly only NTSC" wii. Are the pal cables, pal power supply (220 V) etc compatible with NTSC wii. I don't wanna brick a new wii again and again...

My power supply is multivoltage I seem to remember so would run ok in the US if I were to lop off the great UK plug and stick one of those silly US plugs on. The connection and power requirement will be the same for every Wii. The video outputs will be the same, just that the signal that the NTSC Wii produces will be NTSC by default.

this may seem a silly question, but can i send a fully bricked wii to nintendo without a warranty? i mean i am sure they would charge, or is it best to simply buy another one?

You're right that is a silly question. Of course they'll charge. Some guys have gotten away with only 75 dollars though and get a boot2 capable Wii back in return. How lucky will you be.

It must be fully brick i.e. black screen, not savemii/frii possible otherwise they'll know.
