BootMii screwed my Wii (by incorrect use?)

    Sorry the bad English…

I had upgraded officially my wii to 4.2(U), so I read some guides to installation homebrew channel, etc. After all I tried to use the bootmii, I had a backup when my wii version was 3.2(U), but after the restoration, if I turn my wii, he just gave a screen who says: ‘’The System Files are corrupted, etc ‘’

But using bootmii I can go to homebrew channel normally, I don’t try anything yet, but the apps looks functional. For example, the snes emulator works fine. Thats my hope.

    What I supposed to do?

download signcheck and run it. Post the signcheck.cvs here when your done. And also go into bootmii and check what system menu and ios is installed.

Is your wii E or U, because your first post says you where 4.2u, now you are on 3.4e.

    Download dop ios mod
    Then run it from HBC
    use ios249
    install IOS50-v4889
    then
install system menu v386 (3.4e) or system menu v385 (3.4u)- use the one for your region.
You don't need any patches on those.

Take a closer look at the Signcheck cvs. Bootmii says it's on system menu 3.4E and signcheck says the Wii's region is USA.

As maui said, Installing IOS50-v4889 and system menu v385 should fix you.

Its possible do it without internet? Because on the 3.4 when i backup it, the internet connection was not configured. Its possible to configure internet setting with the HBC?
    And i changed my router.

Also, thank you for the help.

Just download the wads using NUS Downloader with the Pack>WAD option checked, will be a pain on dialup as they are over 20MB but your Wii won't need internet to install them.
Not really doing much Wii stuff these days.

Use NUS Downloader. Tick the "Pack -> WAD" button and it will create wads to put on your sd card and install.
