You are just showing off with your setting.txt experience

No I think you are spot on with your IOS then Sys Menu advice. Just need the OP to actually do it properly.
Not really doing much Wii stuff these days.

It seems I am obviously doing something wrong, I know I messed up in the 1st place, only here for help.
I have the files on the sd card, boot the wii, select ios60, that installs then i install the sys menu, that says ok after that just nothing?

    Jamie you might be right.

All that up and down, up and down grading might have fuzzed up the settings like it did with yours.

I was going to suggest IOS70 and Sys Menu 4.2 but I don't think that'll work either.

You know more about the setting thing than me m8.

Ok what is strange is. i upgraded to 4.2 using nintendo update. i then downgraded using sysmenu 4.1 without installing a ios and was bricked like you, however i then installed IOS 60 using 250 and system menu 4.1 using 250 and it unbricked me completely.
I know its frustrating, try again one more time using 60 and 4.1 using 250.
im off to try something else
