hi every one i thinked i bricked my wii for good just loaded homebrew and back up loader for dvds, turn my wii on and now i have no picture or sound, wii remotes whont connect either i did a nand back up saved on my computer but dont know what to do next other then throw the wii in the bin. im on system 4.2
Reset the Wii and hold down reset, hopefully this will take you to preloader?
Did you install a wad for the loader? What were the last things you did prior to your reboot.Quote:

Does savemiifrii work? Get a gamecube controller and hold all four directional down while booting the wii, this works better with a generic controller.

ahh found you again, try using bootmii to restore your nand back again.
you need bootmii and your nand backup on your sd card to do this by the way
just gone and brought a game cube controller and that didnt work, tried using bootmii and nand back up on sd card that didnt work either, i have no mod chip and im on bootmii boot 2
did you get the bootmii screen when you turned on your wii with your sd card in??Quote:

just tried another bootmii folder with my nand back up and it worked brought up wii menu screen thanks to everyone who tried to help
