They are going to know you softmoded and will likely charge you extra.

    Questions:

1- Do you have bootmii boot2? You would see two flashed from the blue led drive light.

2- Do you have preloader? It would load if you hold reset and power the wii

3- Do you have a modchip that is configured to autoboot? Loads backups when inserted.

4- Do you have cIOSCORP installed? Loads backups from the disk channel.

5- Do you have a gamecube controller to use savemiifrii? The recovery consel can be accessed using savemiifrii via a gamecube controler pluged into slot4, holding all four directionals down and booting the wii, displays a black screen with your system menu version in the lower right corner.

You have to hold the reset button down and power the wii, not just push it.

Savemiifrii works best with a cheap generic gamecube controller. Just plug it into the 4th slot, hold all 4 directional down and then power on the wii and keep holding the 4 directions down. This should work and if it does you will have to fork out some cash to buy an autobooting modchip. Try preloader again.

If you want to try to fix it you would need to buy a preconfigured mod chip for about $70, and may or may not work. Sounds like it could work, but if your wii is under warrenty you should take it back to the store.

When you get the new one, don't install any themes on it. Unless you have a bootmii boot2 wii, which you won't, you need to install as little as possible to the wii- only follow the very new guides that pertain to your very new wii.
