Trouble is mauifrog asked you to use Anytitledeleter MOD and you use the standard one. Use the MOD so it provides more information about the channels.

NUSD allows download of IOS, it might help if we knew which IOS were causing a problem.
Not really doing much Wii stuff these days.

What happened when you tried to reinstall your system ios and system menu. You said it failed, how?

I installed ios60patched and sysmenu4.0u in that order without exiting the wad manager gui. I then went back to the HBC and installed preloader. No errors occurred during the installation. A quick reboot and the system menu still says "The system files are corrupted. Refer to the wii manual." Preloader and HBC still works.

From nusd download system menu 4.0 and pack as wad.
OK, reinstall ios60patched, then system menu 4.0, then boot the wii. Your system menu should work. Check the settings, make sure you can access them, check your channels for any duplicates.

Don't reinstall the preloader you have, you should download it again from wiibrew.org.

Problem fixed. Thank you so much. I realized that I had a bad system menu wad. NUSD downloaded the system menu wad and it worked. Now I'm getting a nand backup from bootmii so that I have a fallback if anything goes wrong. Any other important things I should be doing?

    Cannot get Wii System menu

Hi, I am a new to this too. I am in a similar situation - I had version USA4.0 when I first started couple of weeks ago. I followed line by line instruction but might have missed a few things (did not backup my system as it said it was optional - that is my fault) so now I have the system menu and when I click this nothing happens

At the bottom I have IOS V60, Systemmenu V417 and priiloader V0.2 (r30)

I have put the hack.ini for USA 4.0 in the root of my SD card and if I boot up it still comes with the same system menu - How do I fix this.

NOTE: I did update my HBC from 1.0.5 to 1.0.6 when I first went thru the process (I missed the big red letters to say not to install)

How do I un-install or go back to 1.0.5

    Please help.

Load HBC, then launch wadmanager, use ios249
    Install ios60patched.wad
    then
    install 4.0U-System menu-NTSC-U-v417.wad
Then you will need to reinstall priiloader
It is ok to update the HBC

    Thanks for getting back immediately

    have a couple of questions:
    - Do I put the new downloaded IOS60patched.wad under the wad directory on my SD card?
    - Where do I put the 4.0U-system menu-NTSC-U-417.wad file in my SD card (should this be in the root of my SD card or under the wad directory?)

    Thanks again - appreciate it.
