Thread: Bricked wii cant even get anything on the tv?

I have a wii model no rvl-001europe
Which i updated with the Firmware Updater 4.1(E) and everything ok on the "New 3.1-4.1 Softmod for ANY Wii" without "the preloader" all ok and ran a copied games ok and after a restart the blue led only flashes once not twice and nothing comes up on the tv except (no signal) i have Bootmi installed as an IOS not the boot!

system menu 3.4, installed all ios patched and newest shop channel but did not install another menu; did I brick? I installed ios60 patched also. I then powered off (locked up), and restarted to a black screen. Even tried UUD V4 special edition that that disc maker offered to try to fix this on another forum. Tried different files in my card, and the card was working before, all I did was backup my setup to my desktop (cut and paste) then put other "fix files" onto the card. I tried hitting reset after powering on, and also holding the reset button before hitting the power button. Called Nintendo and they said they no longer fix these types of bricks for people. EVEN if update 4.2 did it to a perfectly clean and unmodded system.

No preloader, thought I had bootmii installed (as channel, think it was boot2 but definately was ios version). No mod chips, and savemii is said to be the same as "savemiifree" which did not work. I am at my wits end here. If I could get ANYTHING I could likely figure it out. Can't get any sound or images on screen. Actually, when I hit power, the TV flashes once (line on bottom, white) like normal but nothing else follows; remains black. No sound either. It does the same when I shut the Wii off.

I can turn it ON with the wiimote, but after that it won't sync. There is always a way to fix things, people figure things out. I am aware of the idea of a faulty bluetooth module but the wiimote would not turn it on if it was faulty, would it? Somebody has to have a secret. If I try the Walmart thing, will they check serial number? PLEASE HELP, take the challenge of helping. I had Punchout and believe it was menu 3.4.

It sounds like you have tried everything, one thing you may have missed with savemiifrii- a genuine gamecube controller has a pin which prevents all four directionals from being depressed at one time. In this case the controller needs to be disassembled to work savemiifrii. Generic controlers typicaly lack this feature.
