Hold reset when you power the wii on. If you have preloader this will bring it up. If that doesn't work, power your wii on again and see how many times and how the disc light flashes. This will tell us if you have bootmii installed as boot2.

I just realized... Which game was it that updated you out of region? we can use that to find out which system menu it put you on.

All you have to do is find a disc with a 4.1U update on it and use that to get you back on track. After you're on 4.1U we can install preloader to block future disc updates so this doesn't happen in the future.

There is also another way to do it through wad manager but I have to leave for a few hours. I'll check if that worked for you when I get back. Luckily you have an easy issue to fix.

    Backup and format your sd-card
    Download This
    The the password is www.wiihacks.com
Extract to the root of your sd-card
    Download IOS50 v4889
    Download System Menu v385 (3.4u)
Place both of these wads in sd:\wads
    Put sd-card in wii
    boot and load hbc
    load bootmii
    wadmanager should start
If you installed cios select 249
    Otherwise Try 36
    Install from sd
    IOS50 v4889
    Then
    System Menu v385 (3.4u)

This may fail, if so goto the 3.1-4.1 guide and complete step3.
    Then repeat the steps above.

You could also download a new game in your region, NSMB should work and let it update your wii. However you don't want to update to 4.2 as it will break the region free ability of your mod chip. You can view the update on the disk using wiiscrubber, install it on your pc and open the iso, then you can view what system menu wad is on the disk.- Make sure the disk is in your region.

    Semi Brick Problem Solved!

I didi it Thank you guys for this great forum.
The problem was that i could not change the region with anyregionchanger since it gave me installed region=.
what i did is that i followed the wonderfull 3.1-4.1 guide ( step 3 ) as adviced and then completed what you told me to do
    Backup and format your sd-card
    Download This
The the password is Wiihacks - Wii Hacking Discussion
Extract to the root of your sd-card
    Download IOS50 v4889
    Download System Menu v385 (3.4u)
Place both of these wads in sd:\wads
    Put sd-card in wii
    boot and load hbc
    load bootmii
    wadmanager should start
If you installed cios select 249
    Otherwise Try 36
    Install from sd
    IOS50 v4889
    Then
    System Menu v385 (3.4u)

This may fail, if so goto the 3.1-4.1 guide and complete step3.
    Then repeat the steps above.

but the problem is that it refused to install System Menu v385 (3.4u) so what i did is that i returned to anyregion changer and now the region installed said=e i changed the console region and i was able to access the wii settings on 3.4 e went again changed it to ntsc ( after the wifi was working now ) and then downgraded from 3.4e to 3.2 U and it worked im now on 3.2U and i fixed the semi bricked issue.

    MAUIFROG you are the MAN!
