thats just it, there is nothing wrong with the wii, its a nand dump of a working system.
from what i can tell, the only thing installed was the HBC and the system channels.

there were a few cIOS which i removed using any title deleter earlier today once i got up and running as i thought they might be causing issues

    That's strange then.

Could be something to do with it being the NAND from another Wii?

could be, i think there is something more at play, my own nand was fine too, but that gave similar issues (black screen / no signal)
my plan was basically to get to the point where i could follow some instructions that would undo everything / bring it back to basics and start over.

i dont know how to narrow it down so it might be a process of elimination

    any thoughts?

i think i need to get it reinstalled to v4890
having some issues with pimp my wii and getting error 1035 via wad manager

Signcheck will list all your ios's and versions, and what vulnerabilities they have. It even saves a handy signcheck.cvs on your sd-card. Error 1035 suggests that you don't have a cios installed.

Well your in a pickle. You don't have ios249 installed, and you probably have a stubbed 249. Your booting to boot2 bootmii, so no wiimote support. You'll need a cios to install your system menu again, but the cios installer does not support gc-controllers. The preloader installer also does not seem to support gc-controllers.

You should be able to uninstalled the stubed ios249, but to install cios I think you'll need to find one that has been extracted into a wad so you can install it with wadmanager. A little hard to find.

Wouldn't the stub IOS249 show up on signcheck? It has on others.

Not sure, but I don't see ios30,50 or 60, I think those are stubs and signcheck knows it, so their not listed.

Had a guy who installed the stub IOS himself and it showed up.

I wonder if this was a 4.2 from the start, no need for stubs then.
