    3.4 PAL No System Menu

I'm a goose and did not confirm firmware 4.1 updated following dogeggs guide. Installed Preloader and now can't get system menu.

I have tried reinstalling via WAD Manager <IOS249>:-
    IOS50-64-v4889 & System Menu-PAL-v386

    Had no luck.

Could someone please help as i am a real noob to this?

Tried restoring NAND but cannot find file i think maybe because it's loaded as a IOS and not Boot2.

    Cheers,

If you can still access preloader (reset while you power on) then you need to redo the IOS50 v4889 and System Menu v386 install.

You don't need a NAND backup to recover but if you do get the bootmii screen (4 icons) come up when you start the Wii then you can fix it from there too.

Make sure the IOS50 and v386 are proper files. We had an issue with the pal wad that was on my mediafire the other day (I got it from Dogeggs' mediafire) which wasn't installing. I have since uploaded the wad directly from Nintendo Update Servers using NUS downloader and we have confirmed it works. My mediafire link is my sig.

can get to preloader screen. Then install boot.elf

loading remote doesn't work. Installing file goes to dump!

Thanks Tealc had tried this with your files and kept getting error when installing v386. Tried reloading preloader from another SD card (i have two wiis) but it has now set it to System Menu V0.

Can no longer access HBC or WAD Manager. I have even tried WAD Mgr in root as boot.dol!

    Where to next?

Put boot.dol for Wad manager 1.4 or 1.5 at root os SD and load it with the preloader option.

    or..

Put boot.dol for Loadmii at root of SD and load it with Preloader, using Loadmii to load wad manager.

If your Wiimote won't connect then download a Wad manager mod, you'll find two in my mediafire apps folder (click my sig)
