Unhappy Noooo bricked my wii !! - BLACK SCREEN

Hello guys. First off all. Im a real noob to all of this! This is how everything went:

    I have european WII

I have a modchip.. wiikey. Well a long time ago I downloaded a downgrader, because i wanted to use the homebrew channel, and i was on 4.0 or so.

After some struggeling the downgrader worked and i was on 3.2E (guys from a forum told me to downgrade to 3.2E. Everything was fine. But then gh5 came out.. and I downloaded it but it didnt worked.

So I started with a guid from this forum.. but I didnt had any knowledge about IOS, CIOS WADS etc.

But anyway.. I follewed that guid but It wasnt working..because of a CIOS 249 that i had.. I had to delete it. So i deleted it with anytitle deleter. But still i could get IOS to install (or wads i dont remember).. but i dont think thats the whole point.

Anyway.. I read on a forum.. to get GH5 to work:

    I needed to have 3.3U

So I grabbed my downgrader and (Up) downgraded to 3.4u. I didnt really understood that that was the US versiion of the wii.

So at that point i guess i had a semi brick??

Well anyway.. after that the forum member said to update to the latest wii version.

I did that.... and then it was bricked. When i start the wii now it flashes 1 time.. Then no more. And the screen just stays black.

I tried the gamecube controller thing.. It did not work. i also tried my wiikey recoverdisc.. also did not work..

    Any suggestions??

    P.S I know i'm dumb...

OH!, and.. I can buy a Savemii for 25 euro's will it work?

Sounds like you've taken some very bad advice.

    GH5 does not require 3.3, 3.4 or even 4.0.

3.2 could install wads without cIOS249, you removed that ability by installing 3.4.

Messing around with System Menus is something which you really don't want to be doing unless you have a brick protection solution such as boot2, which you probably don't have (one flash)

If you updated to 4.2 using your Wii's internet connection then you've probably bricked totally due to Wiikey and mix-match of System Menus.

If you cannot access recovery mode with either a savemii or the savemii/gamecube trick then your Wii is not going to be recoverable by anyone other than Nintendo. The unbrick discs will require you to enter this mode.
Not really doing much Wii stuff these days.

Not unless you are doing the gamecube controller trick incorrectly as they both achieve the same thing but through different methods.

Okay.. So about the gamecuhbe thing.

I havent got a original gamecube controller. Its a BIGBEN gamecube controller.

I screwed the back off the gamecube controller.. and I placed some rubber thing on the D pad. I insert de controller in the 4th .. (also tried the 1st)..

I press al the directions at the same time. Then I turn on my wii. But nothing happens.. neither if i Insert GH world tour.

    Am i doing it correct?

Sounds like you are doing it right. Never performed the trick myself but I have heard it works on 3rd party controllers. As for bigben ones..who knows.
