    Yes it means bluetooth is working. It's one of the things that throws a black screen. It'd be more useful is a screen came up that said Bluetooth failure, but there you go.
    Not really doing much Wii stuff these days.

    hi i said my wii flashed more than once but its only once is it worth buying savemii to try or am i wasting my time ??? thanks in advance to any comments

    One flash = fail at bootmii/boot2.

    Seeing as you just dropped into the thread a few posts ago perhaps it would be wise now to let me know how your brick came about.

    a friend of mine tried softmod it came up you are a pirate bye so he tried another softmod the 1 that backs up nand wii froze 1/2 way thru an install he waited 10 min then pulled plug now wii only has 1 flash and tv says no video ...im sorry if lack of info but i was not there at time and friend works away from home i hope i have made sense

    Sort of...

    If you/he can access preloader by holding down reset while powering on the Wii that would be quite useful.

    If you cannot get this to work then the only solution would be to attempt to enter recovery mode using a modded gamecube controller (savemiifrii) or a savemii dongle, an autobooting modchip and an autobooting unbrick disc.

    Try the reset button first
    Then the gamecube mod (search for savemiifrii) and if that works then think about the modchip.
    Not really doing much Wii stuff these days.

    Guys mine has the same issue black screen, can not boot anything, flash once and I can start with the remote. but I might now take it around to the chinaman around the corner I don't have much to lose now do I.

    thanks to all who posted i tried everything with no joy ...i traded my wii in and paid £35 for another 2nd hand wii with 12 month warrenty and a new game witch i then traded in for £19... might not help in fixing your wii but was cheap fix for mine
