Cool. Welcome to the boot2 club!

    Ok so you have options.

    IOS60patched.rar
    4.1U-RVL-WiiSystemmenu-v449.wad - 4.1, USA

Option 1. Keep rebooting until you get preloader to run, then install IOS60patched and System Menu v449 using Wad manager.

Option 2. Use cboot2, a gamecube controller and a GC enabled mod of wad manager to install IOS60patched and System Menu v449.

Options 3. Use Homebrew channel in bootmii screen to launch wad manager and install IOS60patched and System Menu v449. (prob easiest) I'm not sure if this will have wiimote support though, might still need a Gamecube controller.

Your brick probably stems from not installing/or having a bad install of IOS60.
Not really doing much Wii stuff these days.

Thanks for all your help I tried option 3, but when I choose Homebrew Channel from BootMii it just returns me to the "no signal" screen on my tv.

Giving option 1 a go, because I don't have access to a GCN controller at the moment.
