Ok I gave up trying to restore my system I dont want to buy a mod-chip to fix my system. So i heard on this forum that I can send my wii to nintendo and they will fix it. First how much is it going to cost? i did buy it like 1 week ago so i guess i still have my 60 day warrenty i hope. second is the warrenty voided since i soft modded it? and lastly how long will it take?

As for cost, if your wii is full bricked and maybe even bannerbricked, its going to cost you $75.00 US plus Shipping. Not sure how long it will take and yes the warranty is voided. If your wii is banner bricked (system files are corrupted) then its better to get the autobooting modchip, if its full bricked (black screen) its best to send it back to Nintendo as the autobooting modchip cannot fix this.

Dam I think it is just banner bricked because when i turn on the wii it brings me to some weird preloader menu. the menu tells me that a update to 3.0 is available but when i try it wont let me. there is a few options like system menu i click that and thats when it says the banner system files are corrupted. and i read on this forum that it doesnt void the warrenty if i softmodd the system. So if i buy the autobooting modchip will that take soldering?

If you have Preloader, then you should be able to load Homebrew Channel and install a new system menu by using WAD Manager or Waninkoko's Firmware Updater. As for autobooting modchips, the wasabi dx and drivekey are solderless.

yea the only thing that loads when i turn on the wii is preloader but when i click system menu it goes to the system has corrupt file screen just like bannerbrick. and i am unable to get to homebrewchannel i am purely stuck at the preloader menu. there was a install a file option and there was 2 files in there that said boot.dol and boot.elf. and it wont let me update it like it keeps on bothering me and saying.
