This step is optional unless you are on 3.3 or 3.4, you may upgrade now if you wish, boot2 v4 owners cannot downgrade! but can upgrade if you want. If you want to update to 4.1 then make sure you have at least 250 blocks free or you will brick, install IOS60-patched first (step 5a), then run Firmware Updater 4.1. If you are on 3.3 or 3.4 then you must update.


what happy is i forgot to install IOS60 patched first, and run the firmware updater 4.1, (it finished updating, but system is 3.4,)

coz i have a offline 4.0Updater, so i install it, and installed preloader, and the next thing i know is i got black screen when i power on my wii,

i know it is my falut, i had been so careless last night,


so people, please help me here,

i dont have modchip on it, but i did Run cIOS38 r14 installer, select IOS36 as the one it should use and then select wad install.

so can i still use the GC method with autoboot disc?

also anyone try to sent it back to nintendo australia for repair? would they know i had try to softmod it???

i have got bootmii installed but no as boot2 coz i dont have modchip on it, and i do have NAND backup.

can it be fix, or i have to buy my friend a new wii now

also if i got a wasabi dx and install it on, will it able to fix to the brick?

i cannot, i think this is case of downgarding , i used safelty updater to 4.1,(but i forgot to install patch ios60 first). so the system still say 3.4E, then i use offline 4.0E package, and this is is how i screw it up

i guess i had to buy my friend a new wii now,

i cannot even get the GC method to work, such a bad week for me.
