Red face Options...

Hi, if you manage to go in the recovery menu (GC controller in port 4 and all the directions of D-pad pressed togheter at startup) and you see 4.2USA in the bottom right corner... you may recovery from this brick.
I've already bought and installed a Wasabi DX... but it doesn't work with fw4.2

So I've bought a drivekey chip, and I'm still waiting for it to be shipped...
If you can wait, as soon as I get it I will install and try to unbrick my dead wii (Korean wii with US firmware upgraded to 4.2USA without reading anything around!) and will post everything [Only Registered Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register]
I should receive it on Thursday... if everything goes smooth!
Good luck and feel free to hit the thanks button if you feel like...

That cheaper one will NOT work as it isn't set to autoboot from DVD. You'll need to buy one from here:

Also make sure that you're System IOS has the trucha bug. The 4.2 probably didn't work because you did not patch the bug back in.
