    black screen wii

    well its me again....well i sent my 4.0U wii in for repair for a black screen on startup.i sent it in last week on monday and i just got it back today with fwv 3.3U now its time to start all over...thanks everyone for your help...oh btw what firmware version is the best to have to be able to do everything a wii is capable of doing??? thanks again...

    fix for my black screen

    well its me again....well i sent my 4.0U wii in for repair for a black screen on startup.i sent it in last week on monday and i just got it back today with fwv 3.3U now its time to start all over...thanks everyone for your help...oh btw what firmware version is the best to have to be able to do everything a wii is capable of doing??? thanks again...

    4.1 is fine for most people
    Maybe you can intall bootmii as boot2
    Just follow the guide below for you firmware.

    4.1 is good? i thought 3.2 was like supposd to be the best?

    I can't say for sure as my wii does not support 3.2. When 3.4 was the newest firmware 3.2 was defiantly the greatest, but I can't think of anything you would want to do that you can't do in 4.1. I do know that there are some who are still on and always will be on 3.2, but I don't see any downsides to 4.1. So from what I can tell, that opinion developed and many have moved on. But 3.2 is also fine, no downsides that I know of- other than lack of system menu support for sdhc cards and wiiware/vc from sdcard.
