If you've launched HBC and Wad manager then you can recover your Wii for free. You just need to choose your applications with care. You will not need a new motherboard.

You may have already done this but tell me the events leading up to your brick.

If you performed a system menu downgrade to 3.2 from 4.0 or 4.1 that would be considered vital information.

sorry men , i haved my wii on 3.2 version, i updated to 4.2 with start patch 4.2, nice , i start playing some backups like mario kart, but with the update doesnt work, so i try to get my wii back to 3.2, and i delete the 4.2 patches, and then not having care i deleate the system menu 4.2, and when i reset the wii, black screen, with the luck that i have the boot mii intalled, without a nand copy, i check with the boot mii the wii version and shows unknow, i can acccess the hbc with the boot mii, using a replica game cube controler, because the wii mote doesnt work, with the problem that when i access wad manager, doesnt run because the letter A doesnt respond, for that reason i cant do a lot thinks that i can do to repair that brick

Can I recover it without changeing the motherboard ?

What you have done is bricked your Wii due to stub IOS50 installation.

Your Wii is trying to boot using a null System Menu file. What you need to do is re-install IOS 50 v4889 and everything will be peachy again.

Do you get this when you start your Wii?

If so..

First.
Copy the bootmii folder on your SD card to your computer to keep it safe.
Second.
Copy the cboot2.zip contents to your SD card.
Third.
Copy the Wad manager mod 1.4 boot.dol over the one on your SD card.
Fourth.
Place IOS50v4889.wad in the wad folder on your SD card.
Fifth.
Place SD card in Wii.
Sixth.
Start Wii, use Gamecube controller to navigate Wad manager
Seventh.
Install IOS50 v4889.wad
Eighth.
Reboot

Note:
If you can navigate HBC using your GC controller (never checked it myself) then simply launch this modded WAD manager and install IOS50 v4889.

Additional note. You may also need to install the System Menu 3.4 for your region.

gracias amigo por lo menos ahora puedo usar la letra A del game cube, pero luego de hacer todo esto, sigo en pantalla negra, instale ie ios 50 y el system menu, recuerda amigo antes de mi brick yo estaba en 4.2, cual ios pongo y cual system menu. amigo verifico con el boot mii q system menu tengo y me dice que tengo la 4.2, ya he instalado muchas cosas pero sigo en negro

, gracias amigossssssss, despues de dias en intenso trabajo y ayuda d eustedes logre recuperar mi wiii de black brickk, es fenomenalllllllll, solo tengo un problemita pero se q ustedes tambien me podran ayudar, tengo algunos backups como mario and the olimpic games, madagascar 2 y otros que ahora no puedo jugar, como si tubiera que instalar algo mas, espero tambien su ayuda, gracias de cora...., sigo agradeciendo en lo q me puedan ayudar
