Hi, i have been reading this post for ages now but i just want clarification if my wii is totally fooked or it can be saved.

I was running 4.2u and bricked my wii doing something or other.

Now when i turn my wii on all my tv displys is no signal, i dont know if my wiimote can power my wii as i have a new wii and they are synced with my new 1 and wont seem to sync to the bricked 1.

My bricked wii doesnt have Bootmii installed as boot 2 but only as iso, and when i boot the wii up even with the sd card in i still only get no signal on my tv, so before i go taking my bluetooth modul out of my working wii to and put it into my bricked wii just to get a working wiimote will i ever actually be able to unbrick my wii??

Sorry if that wasnt very clear.

    Thanks in advance tho.

That is hard to say if your wii can be fixed, do you have:
A nand backup from bootmii? Do you know if it was possible to install bootmii in boot2 (or is your wii to new for that)
If your bluetooth is broken you should be able to get into recovery mode (using a gamecube controller or dance mat) but since you get no signal I guess you can rule out that option.
I none of the above is applicable then you can throw away your wii. Just keep the drive, bluetooth module and wifi module as spares ...

If you have priiloader then you have a chance.

Hold down the reset button and turn on the wii if you have priiloader installed it will load up then from there you will be able to start the recovery process. Also as erikie stated you need a gamecube controller.

If you can't boot into priiloader the ONLY option is "InfEcTuS" to recover it but it requires a lot of skill and patience... To be honest it isn't worth it. Make sure if you hack your new wii to install priiloader for brick prevention! It definitely cant install bootmii as boot2 so priiloader is your only hope. Good luck!

Hi ShadowSonic, thank you for this post. I`ve tride to sync my wiiremote and I couldn`t. Besides that, I`m not able to power on the wi with my wii remote. Can I be sure that it`s being caused by the bluetooth module or is there any type of full brick that could causa this behavior?

Thanks a lot for the post...

    Me Next!!

My turn, I guess. I have an older wii which is running hbc and bootmii as boot2. It had been powered down for several days, and when I turned it on I got the system corrupted message. Bootmii works beautifully, as does hbc. I have tried restoring from a backup, also used nus to replace the major ios's and the system menu, all of which was done with a drivekey just installed. Even took a whirl with an autoboot disk, which didn't. No dice! At this point, everything works except I can't run a game and I can't get beyond the health page/system corrupt screen. I am pulling hair and all suggestions to cure the system problem will be gladly considered!

Wad was the last thing you installed? A bad wad? Try to uninstall it with wadmanager.

Do not think I installed an IOS, and by now I believe I have reinstalled all the IOS's I had over 200. I can run games via usb. Could the problem be in the bootmii boot2 version??

BTW, forgot to mention I have Wii factory disc on hard drive and can run it via USB loader. Scary to consider, but I wonder if "delete all" command would do the trick??

If you reinstalled the system ios and system menu then they are not the issue. I think you must have installed a bad app. Or you have somehow corrupted your settings.txt in some way.

-You could, uninstall the last app you installed wadmanager or any title deleter.

    -Verify your settings with ARCmod06_Offline.zip

    -Replace your settings.txt with CB2_BB_System-Settings-Replace_MOD.zip

-Reinstall your system ios and system menu again

Ok, used arcmod and verified everything-still corrupt. Ran gc setting and it said ios249 didn't have all permissions and had bricked wi. Ran nus, d/led 249 and used wad manager to install. Dop ios still showing 249 as v65280,stub, and pimp my wii says have no cios installed. Reinstalled 249 using 36 as base, gc setting booted, loaded setting text and still no dice. My brain is now spinning like a top--
