OK, well keep working on the formater. You didn't make a nand backup before you formated by chance did you?

nope, i neglected to follow instructions. is there a way to split up the comex file into the 3 first ones and have the 4th standalone? so i can install the first 3 and work on the 4th solo? i believe i read somewhere that they were able to do this. its above my technicalness.

here is the post i found the formatter

    does this app load?
    cboot2_wadmanager_1.5_mod.zip
if not try removing the wads that won't install from the wad folder.

You could also try to add some other ios to get wadmanager going.
    IOS36-64-v1042.wad
    IOS16-v257.wad
    Those are usefull.
If you can get wadmanager working again, you should be able to install the others.

    You could try to edit
    sd:\bootmii\bootmii.ini
    video=progressive

    Options are:
    NTSC, PAL50, PAL60, PROGRESSIVE

See if another works better for you.

OK, I would try the formater again. Remove whatever wad failed on your last attempt. And add ios36 and ios16, see if that changes anything.

This formatting is not the most tested technique, so it may take some tinkering to find what works.

One question, does your tv support pal display?

One question, does your tv support pal display? im unsure , it has your standered VGA on the back. never looked into it.

    OK, there is a folder
    sd:\wad
Inside there should be 4 wad files-
    Ios30
    system menu 3.1
    elua
    region select
One or more of these wads failed to load for you, so remove it, probably elua (I forget)
    Add
Ios16 and Ios36 to the folder and see if it will pass the install, if not take note of what fails.

Ios16 and ios36 are linked a few posts below.
