so whats the deal with the bluetooth breaking when modding wii's ? annoying lol
I think your bluetooth is fine, as if worked before the format. Formatting removed the sync, so now no wiimote will turn it on. But if you think it could be hardware, look at the disk drive and wifi.

If you can cboot2 wadmanger, install all wads from a 3.2-4.1 update, but not, never ever install boot2 wad, as that will kill bootmii and you.

well you mentioned that "Download One of These Packs Depending for your system menu and region before you bricked" and the version i had was 4.2 and its not listed above. can i use any other version to restore my wii from being bricked???

also i wanted to ask cant i just restore my wii using a dvd which has the restore feathers cuz i dont have a mod or etc.

pls i am new to all this and the reason why i think my wii got bricked is cuz when placing in the SD memory into the slot, it got hooked and one of the pins inside went out of place while trying to take it out and touched the earthing "metal" case which holds the SD memory in place. I opened up my wii and managed to place the pin back in its normal possition.

    any solution to this?

    thanks

    Unbrick with GC Controller

Hiya, still having problems unbricking my console. Get right thru Bootmii and install the 2 wads, then back right to top of menu, and it says "Press HOME button to restart". On my GC controller, there is no home button, can get the console to restart itself, and if I just unpower then power it on, it's still the same black screen.

    Please, any help appreciated.

    Thanks

The middle centre button on the GC controller is Home, do you have Bootmii as boot2. check the end menu on bootmii & (i) (info) navigate with power button & reset button to select. (incase you did'nt know how)

Run signcheck to see what ios are installed, info on the forum use search hth.

Ok I have an issue. Occasionally I've had the problem where my wii would be working fine, I'm playing games etc and I turn it off. Later when I go back to play more it sees the bootmii menus fine but when I try to go into system menu, or hbc channel I get a blackscreen/no signal error from my television. Now before this has happened maybe 2-3 times and I just restored my nand and everything worked again. Well last night I turned it on to yet again the same problem, but this time I restored the nand I had always used and nothing, same problem persist. I've now tried the method in the original post and when I boot my wii my television gets a unsupported mode error. The tv supports everything but 1080p so I'm not sure where to go from here. Also the wii does turn on using the wii mote. Anyone got a suggestion?
