If your wii was updated to 4.2 by nintendo then bootmii was overwritten and is no longer on your console. So that means you would have to send it back.

This is a for people who have a fully bricked wi with bootmii/boot2 installed but no Nand Backup. This is a rare situation but the solution is simple. Since Loading Homebrew Channel would give you a black screen, you'll need to follow these steps.

STEP 1 - Preparing SD Card

    This Download This Pack:
    cBoot2 + Wad Manager v1.5

Unzip the pack and place the files on the root of your sd card so that your sd card looks like this:

Next Download One of These Packs Depending for your system menu and region before you bricked.

    System Files 3.2 USA
    IOS30-v1040
    System Menu v289 (3.2u)

    System Files 3.4 USA
    IOS50-v4889
    System Menu v385 (3.4u)

    System Files 4.0 USA
    IOS60patched
    System Menu v417 (4.0u)

    System Files 4.1 USA
    IOS60patched
    System Menu v449 (4.1u)

    System Files 3.2 PAL
    IOS30-v1040
    System Menu v290 (3.2e)

    System Files 3.4 PAL
    IOS50-v4889
    System Menu v386 (3.4e)

    System Files 4.1 PAL
    IOS60patched
    System Menu v450 (4.1e)

    System Files 3.2 JAP
    IOS30-v1040
    System Menu v288 (3.2J)

    System Files 3.4 JAP
    IOS50-v4889
    System Menu v384 (3.4J)

Next Create a folder called WAD on the root of your sd card so that your sd card now looks like this:

Unzip the System Files Pack that you downloaded earlier and place the .wad files into the WAD folder on the root of your sd card.

    STEP 2 - Unbricking

    1) Take the same SD Card with those files and put them into your wii before turning it on. Turn on your wii and WAD Manager should appear. Press B for 'No IOS Reload' or select IOS36 by pressing A.

2)Now Install the IOS wad and your system menu wad. Restart your wii by pressing the Home Button, after it reboots, turn it off. Remove your sd card and turn on your wii. Your wii should now be unbricked.

    NOTES
If the first pack didn't work, try Wad Manager v1.4 + cBoot2, remove everything from your sd card and download and unzip this pack to the root of your sd card:
    cBoot2 + Wad Manager v1.4.rar

A Black Screen may not always be caused by a full brick, it may be a problem with your bluetooth module. To clarify, try powering on your wii with your wiimote, if it powers on then that means it is a full brick. If it doesn't that means you'll have to replace the bluetooth module.

This quick easy to follow guide helped me get the wii back in place after I experimented with some IOS files.... Very Much appriciated.

Replace the boot.dol on the root of the sd-card with wadmanager 1.5 mod, which support gc-controllers.

    Thank you mauifrog!

i ahve the SD prepaired, now when i turn the wii on it loads to wad manager 1.5, and GC controller works.

The menu seems different from the guide, it says:

    >>Select ISO version to use <ISO249>

Press LEFT/RIGHT to change ISO version

    Press A button to continue
    Press HOME button to restart
    ---

Do i select ISO36?, and then Pal 3.2u (the sys menu i downloaded because my wii was PAL 3.1u before i bricked, but i had softmodded to 4.1 i think, i bricked when patching ISO60)

    </iso249>Download cboot2_wadmanager_1.5_mod.zip and extract to a formated sd-card
Download IOS60-patched.zip and extract to sd:\wads
Download system menu 4.1u to sd:\wads

Place sd-card in wii and boot
    Wadmanager should start
    Use ios249, load from SD
    Install ios60patched.wad
    Then
    Install System Menu v449 (4.1u).wad

    Thank you mauifrog.
I've bought a GC Controller from Ebay. Once it arrived, I would try to see if this method could save my Wii.
