Hi, I need a little help, I have the 4.1U version and after installing uloader to play the New Super Mario Wii with no succeed, I install Preloader but after that my wii restart and a black screen appeared with white letter "system files corrupted...."

If I press the power button on the wii along the reset button and the power button on the wiimote, I enter a menu and can open HBC, my question is, how fix my Wii? what files should I install?

I'm sorry, I haven't read the entire post, I just visit this page in panic xD

I will really appreciate your help.

Sorry for my bad english xD.

    Edit.

I already fixed, I use the system files in the firs page, thankfuly Preloader let me load HBC and from there run Wad Installer.

    Smile Black Screen

    Hi,
I'm new to this so apologies for any ignorance. I have serial LEH..... and live in UK and installed Homebrew v 4.0 and it has bricked my wii. I believe reading your forum that if you can switch your wii on using remote then it is a full brick. I do not know if homebrew installed bootmii or not. What can I do now? Can a new motherboard/chip be purchased to sort or do I have to send it back to Nintendo. This is an old wii so out of warranty and so would nintendo repair a softmodded wii.
    Thanks

Check for 2 quick DVD slot flashes as you power on your Wii for boot2 presence.

Yes a replacement motherboard can be purchased. Nintendo usually charge heavily for a plainly softmodded Wii, they have charged almost as much as a new Wii, some only pay the equivalent of 75 dollars, it depends.

You must have done something wrong as installing System Menu 4.0 wouldn't brick your Wii, unless of course you didn't install IOS60 first.
Not really doing much Wii stuff these days.

I was quite desperate when the screen remained black yesterday. Fortunately your solution worked, only thing is I didn't have the IOS36 so installed it on the IOS34, could this give any problems in the future??

At least for now my wii works again. So many thanks ShadowSonic2

No, it wont if you mean you used IOS34 for the installation.
