black screen on boot is full brick and unrecoverable. how did you do that?
In my case, black screen on boot is random and I can get away from that at least by removing the SD from it's slot until the health screen comes up. So I don't quite understand why my or every wii with black screen at start should be used for building brickhouse or burglary instead of playing any backups whenever I want. It IS very annoying at the times, but I get past to normal boot without any GC-pads etc.
If one has some kind of simple solution to this without removing the softmods etc, it would be quite cool, but at the time, I don't think that whiite box should be compared to a full brick. Hearing that this is a fullbrick gets my attention to solve this little problem before I get real fullbrick. Only thing I noticed odd while doing the softmod via Amarokz and other guides related to that is that while I was removing 249-stub, it couldn't be removed, but the wii is still playing along like a charm (hopefully not just for now), while not forgetting backup-related problems.

your bootmii files must be messed up or the SD card. try reformatting it

Thanks for your replies people, well sad to say as Messie said, a full brick is unrecoverable, so I had to send it to Nintendo, I got it back and its working I still gotta check what they have done to it, one thing I did notice though is my serial number has changed to start with LEH22 instead of LEH1 as it was previously, what does this mean? does it mean they've changed my hardware?
