Exclamation Fully bricked wii! Nothing is happening PLEASE HELP!!!!

I was softmodding my wii and i tried to load an app, CoverFloader. It froze while in the app so i turned off the wii by the button on the console. Then i turned it back on and it came up with japanese writing and a website to go onto (Welcome to iQue Ltd!). The website had nothing and so i tried SaveMiiFrii with the gamecube controller. Heres what i did wrong...

i booted the wii up with a disc in there while holding all the d-pad buttons on the gamecube controller. Then it came up with the firmware number in the bottom right corner (3.3 Eur).

I then turned it off (is this what i did wrong?!?!) and now it only stays at the blue screen as if the wii is off. but it is on and the light is green...

    HELP?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Seems like maybe you accidentally turned it off during a system update. What disc was in it and what was your system version before it bricked?

Have no clue what you did to cause this.

Try preloader, hold reset while you start the Wii.

Do you have bootmii installed as boot2?
Not really doing much Wii stuff these days.

Yea, GH5 requires an update. Maybe you somehow triggered the update to start and turning it off during an update is almost certain to cause a brick. Of course I can be wrong, I'm just telling what I think. You said you were holding the button on the GC pad up, were you trying to autoboot the disc? Because if so, I think you did start the update.

I just put a regular disc in the drive but i didnt make it autoboot. It was in the drive when i turned it on. Would that make a difference?

There is a preloader hack that autoboots the disc in the drive when you do this, when did you put the disc in the drive then, before, or after you tried CoverFloader?

    GH5 doesn't require 4.0, it carries 3.4.

Was Coverfloader a wad file install or a boot.dol application?
Not really doing much Wii stuff these days.
