I get "Error autobooting file, try reinstalling! Reading the file failed!"

If i then try to load file, it gives me the DSI exception with code dumps and stuff...

Edit: nvm! after about 10 tries i got it going

Edit#2: wiimote loses sync and i cant do anything in TBR

Any ideas? I also loaded up cios38 rev14 and the wiimote instantly loses sync when it launches. Is there a way to get hbc installed again and maybe try launching TBR from there?

I'm drawing a blank on this one I'm afraid. Nothing stands out on that signcheck as to why it's not working out for you.
Not really doing much Wii stuff these days.

well i guess the only thing i can think of is to re-bannerbreak it... I'm not really sure what the ingredients are for a wii brick but all i really want out of it is the wii menu and it to run my backups...

if i start to mess around with it, do you have any special warnings or stuff NOT to do?

i seriously do appreciate all your time! thanks for going out of your way to help us out!

Try running wadmanager from the hbc. You don't need to run tbr again, your cios looks fine. Just reinstall your system ios and your system menu.

    Download this HBC-loader.zip
    Extract to your sd-card
    In preloader, install the boot.dol
Set the preloader autoboot settings to installed file
Your wii should now boot to hbc
Run any apps you like as normal installed to
    sd:\apps\(application folder)\boot.dol

Be sure to install ios50 first, then system menu as described previously.
Then goto the 3.1-4.1 guide below, do steps 4 and 5, installing ios60patched, upgrading to 4.1 and installing priiloader.

If you get errors, be sure to detail a description here.

Awesome! I will try that as soon as i get home...

I am concerned about this warning though: "make sure you have at least 250 blocks free or you will brick" I want to figure out what that means before moving forward. I have a 2gb sd card if its talking about space

well its officially unbricked!!! i got my wii menu back and it still has neogamma on it and it runs the games!! I havent yet tried to install the ios60patched and upgrade to 4.1... is this necessary if it seems to work perfectly now?? If you recommend i do it anyway, i sure will, but it looks and feels perfect the way it is now.

I can't thank you guys enough for all your help. I don't understand how you can volunteer your time for people that cant follow instructions and still manage to be patient. Simply amazing! We sincerely appreciate all that yall do!

The upgrade is there principally the allow Priiloader to be installed, plus if everyone is at 4.1 there will be less people bricking by running disc updates so saves us time in the long run too.
