Did you install bootmii as IOS or boot2?

What System Menu level did you downgrade to? Which System Menu were you at before the downgrade?

What are the first few letters and numbers of your Wii serial number i.e. LU39, LEH247?

No bootmii or perloader installed. Was following a how to from another site to fix my homebrew. file that killed it was PatchMii IOS Downgrader got error and had to reset then from then on have had no video output. Can still turn on with wii remote. Tryed gamecube controller boot to recovery menu with no luck.

So you downgraded your IOS without any form of brick protection? That's asking for trouble.

Anyway you didn't actually answer any of my other questions. Gamecube controller doesn't typically work with full bricks.

What was wrong with your homebrew anyway? What tutorial did you follow?

That's such a shame. Downgrading, even in July, was getting a touch out of date. We no longer recommend it due to issues arising such as yours.

I'd imagine you were getting -2011 errors installing wads and black screens playing newer games. The fix for -2011 takes about 5 minutes and is 100% safe. The fix for black screens is simply updating a few IOS using Wad manager.

I'm not sure what to suggest now. Full bricks are not typically recoverable using the savemiifrii/savemii method as there is no System Menu to work with.

It looks like the downgrader halted after removing the existing System Menu and before installing the new one correctly.

I think your options are limited, throw it away or return it to Nintendo.

Maybe someone else has some more ideas.
