    Semi-brick

I semi bricked my Wii with Punch-Out (PAL). I'm not sure what it upgraded me to. It has the Wiikey 2. Is there a retail game I can buy with a newer firmware update that will fix it? I dont really wanna put a lot of time into fixing it lol. Only playing it till my 360 gets shipped back from RRoD repairs Thanks in advance

punch out has 3.4, no game has anyhting newer (unless your NTSC-J)

can you access preloader, bootmii, system menu, hbc, wadmanager etc?

I dont have homebrew or anything installed (only using Wiikey). Im still able to play all backups and retail copies, just getting the opera error when i try to access system settings. Im trying to avoid having to do a bunch of tomfoolery lol so i''ll probably end up waiting for the next game with a disc update

Isnt 4.x out yet? Or anyone know of which upcoming games will have a new update?

4.1 is the latest system menu, but no games have it on the disc yet.

You could just install HBC onto your wii, then using wadmanager from HBC you could reinstall your current system menu, or use waninkoko's 4.1 installer to get 4.1 installed

So would it be ok to do that using the twilight hack on 3.4? Or is there a simpler method?

Thx! giving it a shot now

Update - Ok I can now access the Homebrew channel and preloader. Only thing im having trouble with now is reverting back to 3.4u from 3.4e (or maybe J, I forget) Most of the tutorials i read require an internet connection and im unable to change my network settings bc of the opera error in my system settings ><. Is there another way to get my system settings back?
