Do you have bootmii or preloader installed?

i did have bootmii installed, but i cannot access it, preloader was also installed, but no matter how many times i've tried to hold the reset button or power button, the only thing that pops up is the system files are corrupted, and even that message all the letters are garbled.

Was that bootmii installed as boot2 or was it as an IOS?

It's not guaranteed that preloader would work once you muck about with cIOScorp anyway, as it's such a fundamental change to your Wii.

cIOScorp would not remove bootmii as boot2.

Check your Wii DVD slot. If it flashes like this video then you have boot2. Note the video shows 2 power cycles.
