    deleted system menu

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I am sure this is the 1 millionth post on this topic but I really could use some help.

I have spent the last week researching every type of fix out there but nothing is working. Here is the breakdown of what happened and what I have tried to fix it.

I deleted system menu in wad manager. I had previously installed preloader but after deleting system menu all I get is a black screen. The system still sounds like it wants to read a disk.

I bought a 3rd party GC controller and plugged into prt 4 pressed all buttons down and nothing happened.

I have tried burning uudv2 disk and using it and nothing
I have tried burning wad revovery disk and using it and nothing

Is there any way I can burn something to a disk that may help system reload

I have tried putting some apps and wads on a sd card but the system I believe isn't reading the sd card

Is there something I could do using the computer to hook up to wii and refashing.

I am at the end of my rope and would appriciate some new light.

The only upside is that the system is still under waranty so having deleted system menu I wonder if I sent it in if nintendo would see that I soft modded it.

There's not much you can do unless you installed bootmii as boot2 when you softmodded.

If it's under warranty then probably worth sending it back as they'll probably just do a swap for you anyway, at least that's what people have been reporting when they send their black screened Wiis back.
Not really doing much Wii stuff these days.

No one told you to fuck around on your wii when you obviously had no fucking clue what you were doing. Just because your a moron doesn't give you the right to bash people who are trying to help you.

Send it to Nintendo. There is nothing anyone can do for you.
I think you learned a very valuable (75$) lesson

I think you missed my point I was trying to make earlier. I am very appriciatetive of peoples help. I believe this forum is for people that require help or have answers for those who need help. It isn't helpful or mature to be sacrastic with some one or basically call them an idiot for there errors. I am very compitant in other areas like my psp and satallite stuff. When people need my help in those areas I do not refer to them as einsteins or reply to their posts in an offensive manner. IF I was the modderator of this site I would definitly have these type of people removed as it is of no-ones benifit to have that type of attitude in the forums.

Vash may have been very short in his response but his advice is 100% spot on accurate. You've screwed your Wii and there's nothing you can do about it now.

Whether Nintendo discover the hack is immaterial. The only solution other than sending it back is buying a new or second hand Wii to replace the unit you messed up.
